The FBPA continues to sponsor community activities such as the Pumpkin Fest, scheduled for the first weekend in October. The event begins with a Punkin' Chunkin Contest at the Schuylkill Mall on Friday night that children of all ages can enjoy and marvel at the splat of a tossed pumpkin. The next day the fun continues with children's games, crafts, contests and food sales in Frackville's downtown.

Mardi Gras. When a community comes together amazing things can be done. For several years the FBPA sponsored an annual Mardi Gras to support the Frackville Free Public Library. The FBPA may have organized it, but it would not have been a success without the loyal and enthusiastic support of the whole community. Enjoy these pictures from Mardi Gras Past.
