King & Queen Event- Win by largest number of votes - $1.00 each.
The Mardi King & Queen competition is open to any ticket holder. Funds raised from this event are donated to the day-to-day operations of the Frackville Free Public Library.
In addition to other prizes, the Mardi Gras Queen & King will each receive an engraved plaque commemorating their reign to display in their place of business for the entire year. This yearly award is sponsored by the Law Offices of Rubright, Domalakes, Troy & McDonald.

In 2005 the Spirit of Mardi Gras Award was introduced. The King & Queen winners of the current year select an atendee of Mardi Gras who best embodies the true spirit of Mardi Gras.
